The Cobo Group, headquartered in the Brescia and Reggio Emilia regions, specialises in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic components, targeted at manufacturers of industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, cars and motorcycles. «Cobo was present at EICMA in 2010, that is when we entered in the world of motorcycles by manufacturing the dashboard of the new Ducati Panigale», explains engineer Carlo Linetti, marketing and commercial director of Cobo. «We have considered EICMA precisely because we needed to become known throughout the two-wheel world. We had taken part in other trade fairs of the sector because our core business was agricultural machinery, but at the Salone in Milan we received a lot of positive feedbacks. Last year we were present with Andrea Dovizioso's MotoGP bike and received many visits. But beyond fans, EICMA gave us the chance to know other industries. An example? After being next to the Brammo booth, now we have become their suppliers». The company manufactures electric motorcycles in Talent, Oregon, and in fact, it started to use Cobo wiring in their motorcycles towards the end of 2013.
