COBO vince il Premio Europeo per la Sicurezza su Lavoro

COBO wins “Healthy workplaces good practice” award

European Award for COBO: the AI-driven digitalization project serving safety

COBO took part in the closing summit of the 2023–2025 European Campaign “Safe and healthy work in the digital age”, held in Bilbao (Spain), where it received the prestigious “Healthy Workplaces Good Practice” award. This prize recognizes the best European practices in occupational health and safety in the digital era.

The recognition marks an important milestone and confirms the value of the project developed in collaboration with Perla Del Garda and AIFOS – the Italian Association of Safety Trainers and Operators. An initiative that combines technological innovation, sustainability, and worker protection.

AI and agriculture: a new safety model

At the heart of the award-winning project is the use of Artificial Intelligence applied to an autonomous driving tractor, thanks to COBO’s “VLN (Visual Lane Navigation) AI-plugged Kit”, designed to support operators in the digitalization of work processes. The technology helps reduce operational risks, improve activity monitoring, and increase overall safety levels, while maintaining the operator’s central role by supporting—not replacing—them.

AI becomes a support tool that helps prevent hazardous situations, optimize workflows, and promote a safer and more aware professional environment.

An award looking to the future

The “Healthy Workplaces Good Practice” award, presented to CEO Dr. Enrico Linetti, strengthens the company’s commitment to promoting an innovative safety culture capable of responsibly and effectively integrating new technologies. This approach fully aligns with the vision of European Institutions for work that is increasingly digital, yet also safer, more inclusive, and more sustainable.

This achievement represents not only a source of pride, but also an incentive to continue investing in and developing solutions that place technology at the service of people, helping to build their future.
