At the center is the well-being and health of the operator in his or her work booth
The COBO matrix LED worklight is an adaptive lighting system equipped with an array of individually addressable and controllable LEDs that work together with a COBO electronic control unit.
Adaptive matrix worklights connected via CAN to COBO’s vehicle control unit (VCU) increase operators’ driving safety on construction sites and other applications.
4 FUNCTIONS IN 1:
SPOT, FLOOD, WIDE, FULL
Each COBO 4500 series Smart Tilt Switch is equipped with a microcontroller that verifies the button positions, manages the four internal LEDs, performs diagnostics, and exchanges information with the external gateway. The gateway manages up to a maximum of 30 switches via two physical subnets, reads their status, and interfaces with power drivers via CAN bus. Communication between switches and gateway is via serial bus.
MODULARITY AND COMPLETE
CONTROLLABILITY CAN
Matrix worklights have a CAN connection, from which they can be activated. Each worklight has a CAN ID associated with it, and a specific function and location on the vehicle can be assigned for each.
RECONFIGURABILITY
IMMEDIATE
Using VT3, COBO’s proprietary software, the worklight can be set up as a fully slave device or configured to create one or more specific light beams upon receiving CAN messages.
